The Rimon Ring is inspired by the Rimonim — the finials that crown the Torah scrolls. In Yemen, silversmiths devoted exceptional skill and reverence to the making of Rimonim, a sacred art form deeply tied to Jewish identity and spiritual tradition.
Here, the architectural form of the Rimonim is reimagined as a single tower rising from the hand — a gesture of continuity, faith, and protection. The ring unites multiple Yemenite silversmithing techniques: filigree, granulation, and sheet work. This approach departs from the traditional practice in Yemen, where each artisan typically specialized in one style, merging them instead into a single, harmonious creation that honors unity through craft.
The Rimon Ring was exhibited in Umm Subyan — a group exhibition exploring the mystical and protective dimensions of Yemenite tradition — presented at Zemack Gallery and The Art House in Tel Aviv, where it received recognition for its refined craftsmanship and cultural resonance.
